The project staff of Mozambique Canada Maternal Health Project in Inhambane overjoyed at the arrival of the ambulances, which will be a critical component in reducing maternal child mortality.

Representatives from leadership structures – provincial and district – who were on hand  as part of the ceremony of 3 ambulances being delivered to 3 districts where the Mozambique Canada Maternal Health Project has concentrated programming support for women and child health.

“I am sharing at this moment the images of the delivery of the ambulances, by His Excellency the Governor of the Province of Inhambane, to the Administrators of Zavala, Morrumbene and Vilanculo. This ceremony took place today, December 21, 2018, at 8:00 a.m. The following were present: Permanent Secretary of Inhambane Province; Members of the Provincial Government, Administrators of the Province of Inhambane, and Members of Parliament.

The project partner in Mozambique was represented by the Inhambane Provincial Director of Health, members of the provincial government, and the collective  of the Director of Heath for the province.
