September 28 is International Safe Abortion Day. To mark this day, the Mozambique-Canada Maternal Health Project and DPSI, with support from Global Affairs Canada, co-hosted a lively and thoughtful roundtable discussion on safe abortion access and the law protecting safe abortions in Mozambique. Representatives from the health, education, and social services sectors in Inhambane province joined with community representatives to debate the challenges and ways forward in promoting safe abortion as a fundamental reproductive right for women and girls. Working together to protect women and girls from unsafe abortion!
